i'm totally flattered to be on your list. and i reciprocate your feeling. as a matter of fact, i can spot talent and potential, and that's what's there in you. be confident. my father, not prone to profundity, said toward the end of his life, "if someone had just told me how it was going to turn out, i would have enjoyed my life a lot more." no reason for you not to enjoy. and not take a lot of grief if this new company doesn't work out just right.

bill, again

congratulations on the new job. I think you will be happier with the start-up and being able to create new things from the ground up (I always thought it was better that way, especially if you have the mindset of "take your time and do it right the first time".) I just looked at the website and I admit that I'm not a tech expert but I have no idea what "on-demand marketing automation", "the lead generation and nurturing processes", "marketing spend", "analytics", or "marketing funnel" are. (I stopped reading at that point). Perhaps if I read on I would find the phrases "outside the box" and "thought partners". However, its more plausible that I am not the indented audience and it doesn't matter. I just looked at the page again and the text on the bottom in gray is much more readable. I hope you the best of luck at Marketo (is that pronouced Market-o or mar-keto or mark-eto (like judge Eto). Ps, do you know anything about a software called Alpha 5, its a competitor to FileMaker.
