The number of people on earth is over 6 Billion. Lets say roughly half of those people are eligable as potential “soul mates”. Thats 3 billion. Think about how many of those people you have personally met. How many will you EVER meet? A few thousand tops? Its such a tiny sliver of a fraction. But keep in mind that alot of people do eventually meet and marry their soul mates. This leads me to conclude that it is relatively easy for humans to find compatible mates. Maybe 1 in 1000 or 0.1% chance. That means with 3 billion potential mates, narrowed down for age requirements, you still are left with millions of potential “soul mates”. So you can either look at it as 1 in a 1000 is hard, or there are a million “soul mates” out there for me. I just need to look out for one. Chances are: You will find it. 2004
Im excited for fuel cells. Wouldnt it be cool if we didnt pollute the air and depend on the Suadi Arabian aristocracy for oil? Source: News.com Story 2004

Bill Clinton is visiting Cody’s Books in Berkeley on June 29. (See link). The question is: Should I go? I would have to buy his 950 page book. Am I going to read it? I dont know. I can’t imagine its well written. Is it honest? Will it get me closer to my goal? (see Wisdom below) What do you ask Bill Clinton? So back to the question: Should I go? Im not going to read the book. I didnt read Hillary’s book, but we could have seen her at a book signing in NY and we didnt. What would a wise man do? 2004
Just started reading another book my boss gave me called Critical Chain. Same author who wrote The Goal. Its such a clever technique to write a novel to teach a scientific theory. However, I wonder how to apply this to my current job. I think I need to read a book on the Socratic method. Socrates had wisdom, didnt he? 2004
I’ve decided. My life’s ambition is to gain wisdom. Intelligence is illusory. I can read all the books in the world and know all the facts, but where does one find wisdom? Im not sure where I will find it, but it’s my Goal. I think it’s important to have a goal. Something like a Vision statement or a Mission statement. Something that helps steer your boat on your journey. Of course, if I find it, I might realize my goal is something else. Thats the funny thing about Wisdom. Isnt it? Maybe not. Ill let you know. 2004
The title of this article says: Court dismisses pledge suit. Just reading that title you might think the Supreme court said something about whether the words “under God” should be in the pledge of allegiance. They, in fact, did not. They said the plantiff was not the legal guardian of the little girl he was suing for and therefore the case was tossed out on a technicality. I hate misleading articles. The title shouldve been: Supreme court finds technicality to avoid decision on Pledge suit. 2004
