Kerry Doldrums

By | September 15, 2004

I’ve been harassing my brother all summer telling him that Kerry will finish strong and not make mistakes. Well, he has made mistakes, and he is waiting an awfully long time to get into the game. What the heck is he doing?

Today he called Imus and told him: “President Bush’s desk isn’t where the buck stops, it’s where the blame begins.”

Does Kerry understand what the buck stopping idiom means? Read the second paragraph to understand the history.

Kerry needs to grow a pair of balls. If he loses this election, I think it can be traced to the question, “If you could go back, knowing what you know now, would you vote to give the president power to go to war?” His answer should have been, “Knowing what I know now, that the president was going to mess up the whole thing, and torture and humiliate prisoners and create a situation that puts American lives in danger, Yes, I would have changed my vote.”

Man, come on. If he doesn’t get “presidential” soon, we are going to be stuck with Bush for another 4 years.

riiiiiiiight, John Kerry is just waiting. Isn’t it just possible that he is just not capable of making a push. And when you steal my entry “Kerry Has No Marbles” I think I should get some credit. But I agree, Kerry needs to “act” presidential, he should stop trying to be a regular person and start wearing nice suits (with ties), meeting for foreign leaders, have a real plan for Iraq (one that includes what we will do if other countries still refuse to help and the violence continues), and stop calling the president and his crew “the administration” and start calling them “George Bush and Dick Cheney” (always include Cheney). Also where is Edwards, is he even alive. If Kerry would have chosen Dean and let him loose on Bush that would have been great. And when are the freakin debates going to begin?
