Recently, An old colleague from Marketo reached out to me about a role leading product design at his cybersecurity firm, SentinelOne. The more people I met, the more interesting the position became. It’s a fascinating field and team seemed smart, energetic, and experienced.

I accepted the position and today is my first day as VP, Product Design & Docs etc! (The etc is my favorite part of the title. Similar to Marketo, Engagio, and Treasure Data, they asked me to lead the documentation team as well as product design. Plus, I like to help out whomever I can find.

SentinelOne is a growing public company with offices and people around the world. It has an engineering and design hub in Tel Aviv, Israel and I look forward to visiting there to meet to the team in person.

I remember in the early 2000’s when I was considering being an IT Admin for a career. Security back then was the wild west. It has evolved so much since then. I think my experience at Marketo, Engagio, Treasure Data, and Falkonry will all come into play in this role.

The fire hose is running full stream right now, but I wanted to take a moment to write this down and update my LinkedIn.
