We have had a large liquid oak tree in front of our house. It grew and grew for decades. Eventually it started to break the sidewalk and encroach on the foundation of the house. Very sadly, the city decided that our glorious tree would have to go.
The tree provided excellent shade to the house and dropped a billion little spiky balls on to the yard. The spiky balls were it’s worst quality.
Now we have to find a new tree to plant. Something draught resistant but with decent shade. Something that will not break the sidewalk again in 20 years.
We used to decorate the tree for the holidays. Kids used to climb on it.

Thank you tree. You were a good tree and we are sorry that you had to go. We will remember you fondly.
Whatya think?
