IE8.1 might be awesome

I can’t even believe I am letting my hopes get this high.  Check out this SmashingMagazine article about Internet Explorer 8.1.  The thing that pops out, and it pops out ALOT is shown in this picture:

This is GIGANTIC.  It is showing support for Firefox add-ins  The biggest reason I had internet explorer is because it doesn’t have firebug.  If IE8.1 supports Firebug and the web developer plugin, I wouldn’t mind it so much.

Oh, please god, let me have IE8.1 soon to see if this is true.

UPDATE: Although slightly mis-timed…this is an April Fools Joke by Smashing Magazine.  Ugh.  I am so let down.  Good one.  You got me.
