I am recruiting new product designers these days and one candidate put her personality tests on her About page. I saw the test and (on a whim) decided to fill out the form. It just takes 5 minutes or so. Here are my results:
The Architect INTJ, -A/-T
The text is generally accurate. Some highlights
- Strengths
- Quick, Imaginative and Strategic Mind
- High Self-Confidence
- Independent and Decisive
- Hard-working and determined
- Open-minded
- Jacks-of-all-Trades
- Weaknesses
- Arrogant
- Judgmental
- Overlay Analytical
- Loathe highly structured environments
- Clueless in Romance
- Few Friends
Yup, that seems about right.
My son Ethan thinks that these sorts of tests are hippie mumbo jumbo pseudo science and should be mocked. He might be right, but I still like them. They help make sense out of something truly complicated…our personalities.
What do you think? Useful or waste of time?
