I was in a discussion with a young designer about whether serif or sans serif is easier to read. I was about to go over the pros and cons, but then I found this info-graphic on serif vs sans-serif. Brilliant. I’ve made a copy of the graphic below. I think it covers the subject completely.

My suggestion is to use a fancy serif font for H1 and H2 headers and titles, but use a nice big sans-serif font for the text. Blockquotes can go either way.
