WebTV Prediciton

I am in a rush, so here is the quickie prediction of the day:

The internet has alot of good stuff. The Web and Email are the biggies. Expect WebTV and others like it to break through the wall into mainstream America. Why? Because most of America doesn’t need a computer. They need communication. My mother doesn’t need Excel or MS Word. She needs to send a message to her son in college.

The Web is based on computer technology because that is where it was born. In the hearts and workstations of computer people. It will become a mainstay in America by moving away from the computer.

WebTV or other television/phone hybrids can be sold for $200. This cost is for email and web usage and nothing more. This will become as popular as the VCR over the next couple of years.
